Let me first state that my English is not very good so there will be mistakes. I also did not took notes and I did this battle rep. from memory.
My opponent army:
2x 29 Pink Horrors with full command, One of the Iridescent Horror is The Changeling
20 Deamonnettes with full command
1 Lord of Change, Dark Magister, Master of Sorcery
2 Heralds of Tzeentch, Both Flames of Tzeentch
1 Herald of Slaanesh
So that's about 15 PD and 10 DD (vs my 8PD and 5DD)! Everything has a price and his army is, well, ridiculously puny in close combat when compared to my full plate warriors.
Valhalla Knights army list:
Freya the Dark Mother, Sorcerer Lord: Lvl 4, Slaanesh, Steed of Slaanesh, Third Eye of Tzeentch, Dispel Scroll x2, Power stone, Spell Familiar, Enchanted shield
Sigurd the Immortal, Exalted Hero: Khorne, Juggernauth of Khorne, Shield, Axe of Khorne
Niflheim the Damned, Chaos Sorcerer: Lvl 2, Nurgle, Chaos Steed Bard., Conjoined Homunculus, Infernal Puppet
The Varangian Guards, 15 Chaos Warriors: Mark of Slaanesh, Musician, Standard Bearer, War Banner, Shields
Repenting Raiders, 5 Marauders Horsemen: Mark of Slaanesh, Flails
Raiders, 5 Marauders Horsemen: Mark of Slaanesh, Musician, Shields
5 Chaos Warhounds
5 Chaos Warhounds
The Berserkers, 5 Chaos Knights: Musician, Standard Bearer, Banner of Rage
Knights of Pleasure, 5 Chaos Knights: Mark of Slaanesh, Musician, Standard Bearer
The Einherjar Brothers
2 Chaos Spawns
Lord of Change: Fire Lore (why?)
Herald of Tzeentch 1: Flickering Fire (1) and Bolt of Change (5)
Herald of Tzeentch 2: Gift of Chaos (4) and Tzeentch's Firestorm (6)
Sorcerer Lord MoS: Lash of Slaanesh (1), Hellshriek (2), Hysterical Frenzy (3), Titillating Delusions (4), Aura of Acquiescence (5)
Sorcerer MoN: Magnificient Buboes (1), Curse of the Lepers (5)
Bad luck here, I really wished to have Ecstatic Seizures against deamons (best spell against deamon infantry: they have T3 and they can't use their ward save against this attack.) I could have easily wiped half of any unit with a (lucky) casting. He did however take the Lore of Fire on his greater deamons (large target, easy line of sight with Third Eye of Tzeentch). So I decided that Wall of Fire was a good enough substitute.
It was a formality for him: I deployed on the left hounds and spawns, on the center the warriors and he deployed all his army aligned to these. I then deployed my two knights units on my right flank and went for a classic hammer & anvil strategy. The warriors were the anvil and held the center with the help of the spawns while the knights (hammer) went to smashed the right flank. The knights flanks were then protected by the Warriors and the warriors flank was protected by the spawns. In front of my units I had hounds and horsemen to harass his position and draw his attention on them instead of the full plate warriors behind.
I get the first turn and move everything forward. One of the spawns tripped on his tentacles and moved 2 inches. In my magic phase, I tried to cast Wall of Fire on one of the Horrors squads with 5 dice but he dispels it. Tried buboes on the Changeling but it also failed.
My opponent retreat his unit to make sure I don't get the charge next turn. His magic phase is a total disaster, he tried to cast 3x Bolt of Change at 12+ with 3 dice and failed all attempts. He did manage to cast Wall of Fire on the frenzied knight units with the exalted hero (he kills one). He also cast Flickering Fire and kills maybe 1 horsemen (#1).
I try to charge with my knight units and marauder horsemen in the horror unit (wall of fire kills a second knight!). Horsemen successfully charge but I lose 2 to a Stand and Shoot from the Herald. Knights fails by 3 inches (actually I should have just move the horsemen on the side and just checked to see if the knights could charge with frenzy). I do not kill any horrors and he kills my last 2 horsemen. Everything else moves forward. My magic phase was barren.
On his turn he charges my second horsemen unit with daemonettes. The pink horror unit that just killed my first horsemen unit charges the warhounds in front. I flee from both fights successfully (unfortunately I did not setup my units properly and I can't get a flank charge). His magic phase is good but I dispel about everything important with my 2 dispel scrolls. He manages nevertheless to do one wound to the spawn.
Turn 3 Highlights:
I rally the horsemen and I charge with both knight units on his big horrors unit. I messed up my warriors movement and decides not to charge the daemonettes (I think I tried to make a flank move on the knight impossible, which is stupid since I just could have charge). I get hysterical frenzy on the Slaanesh knight in my magic phase and once in close combat my now 2 frenzied knight units kills around 10 horrors (4+ ward save).
He charges my warriors with his daemonettes and kills none. I kill around 5 daemonnettes and he looses 3 more due to daemonic instability. Once again his magic phase is pretty bad. He manages to kill one knight, one warrior and put a wound on my lvl2 sorcerers (with Gift of Chaos). My knights kills yet another 10 horrors.
I rally the warhounds and charge the daemonnettes with one of my spawn. My magic phase is just insanely good. I manage to cast Aura of Aquiescence on the chaos warriors (in CC with daemonettes) and Curse of the Lepers on the remaining horrors (in CC with knights). Once again the daemonnettes does not kill anything (the herald and 1 daemonnettes are paralysed). I kill around 8 daemonettes again. I kill only 5 horrors this time with my knights and I loose one myself.
Up until know my oponent moral is somewhat low, but this is where it sinks to the bottom. His magic phase his incredibly bad once again and I manage to dispel the only dangerous spell (Flaming Sword on his Lord of Change). He charges with his Lord of Change, wounds 4 knights at S6 and I manage to do all saves! I kill nearly all horrors and he looses his Lord of Change and his unit to a daemonic instability test! Same thing happens to his daemonnettes and he decides to concede the game.

I was lucky to kill the Lord of Change. That greater daemon could have done massive damage to my knights if he had taken the lore of metal. I also need to mention that my opponent was quite new to WHFB.
It seems I forgot to add my army list! (I am adding this right now)

Wall of fire on knights is worthless, but if we substitute that with spirit of the forge, as he should have taken metal, the game is vastly different.
I really like your pictures and death counters. Great report all around.
Tell him metal is best against knights and tell him flickering fire is his bread and butter.

Yeah the game would have been tougher! But if I remember correctly, when he did cast the wall of fire, I still had 2 dispel scrolls (and I let it go). Also add to the fact that he needs a line of sight for this spell (not for wall of fire) and I would have tried to block his line of sight until I got in CC. Unfortunately, we did not have time to discuss this afterwards (store was closing) but I did told him he should try and use more units (to march block and flank me).
I think the game results were influenced a lot by the deployment. I don't think my opponent had a strategy and he pretty much fell for my refused flank during deployment (and he did not march block me nor flank me with his greater deamon).
I will be trying a similar army next game but this time with only Slaanesh characters. Did you think my army was missing somethings. It is pretty difficult to say for me after such an easy victory.

Any win against deamons is a well deserved one in my opinion
Anyway, thanks for putting this up, I enjoyed reading this
