A few of the guys from our club will be having a 30k pts per side (3 teams a said 10k pts each) game this weekend, a classic good vs evil. The mission will be invasion (with evil invading of course!).
Forces of Destruction:
Dark Elves (me!);
Warriors of Chaos.
Forces of Order (boo!)
A few changes to the rules first the unit caps have been lifted for some units, so for example i can take more than 20 black guard. Second we are not using the fragile alliances rules, with skaven and dark elves on the same side we thought it would be too much of a hindrance, especially with my Dreadlord been the grand general. We ae also having magic items limited per army (so each 10k pts on a side can take items once each). last but not least the winds of magic will be blowing strong with 2D6 and 2D3 per board section (its one board in three sections) with dispel been highest D6 and D3, maximum power dice will be 18.
The game will be this weekend however when i actually get the report up is another story, think i will do in section releases and keep up the suspense.

Some highlights I'm looking forward to hear about:
1. The Hydra Battle Line
2. Skaven Horde of Hordes
3. Sneaky infiltrating Assassins
4. Very strategic placement of the Anvil of Doom.

Being forces of evil you should hopefully have broken your opponents fingers pre-game to hamper their dice rolling. Looking at the pics it looks like it should be a fairly easy task.
That is quite a lot of toy soldiers!! Although that many unpainted toys makes me die inside a little. You better not loose........
