This is my first report so please forgive me in advacne.
High Elves list (to the best of my memory)
2 10 man units of archers, 2 repeater bolt throwers, 1 16 unit of spearmen(i believe it had a character in it, 1 8 man unit of calvery, and 2 wizards
2 scar veteran, 1 skink priest, 2 units of chameleon skinsk(i love these guys), 2 10 man untis and 1 11 man unit of skins w/ blow pipes, 2 16 man units of saurus w/ full command, and a stegadon
We rolled to see who would set up first and I won electing to have my opponet go first.
High Elves set up
he set up 1 unit of archers on each side of the board with the bolt throwers in the middle. he put a wizard at the end of each archer unit. his calvery and spearmen in the back.
Lizardmen set up
i set up my skinks at 12in from the table edge in a line across the field. then on each side i set up a unit of saurus and in the middlie i put my 2 veterans and wizard. i put the stegadon out to the far side(to act as a sweeper) i then placed my chameleons units. i places 1 12in away from each archer unit.
Once we had finished we rolled to see who would go first. I won and elected to go first.
Let the Battle Begin.
First Lizardmen turn.
no charges. i cast one spell and it is disspelled with a scroll. i moved the chemleons and stegadon 6" and marched everything else. the chameleons fired 10 shots at the first set of archers. dropped 25% and the fail the test and ran. the second set shot 10 and only dropped 2. my stegadon fired at the calvery hit but didnt wound. thus ends my turn.
High Elves 1st turn
the panicing unit of archers fail and run within an inch of the table top.
no charges. moves one wizard behind the archers and the other to the bolt throwers. magic, he fries one unit of chameleons and that was all the magic he got off.(lucky me) shooting. fires archers into the skinks and drops 3(i pass my test gotta love being clod blooded). next shots come from the bolt throwers. he drops 5 shinks and they run. his turn ends.
the fleeing shkinks rally but cant do anything that turn.
my veterans charge the blot throwers. i move the chameleons closer to his calvery and the rest of my units closer to him as well. all spells are shot down or dont go off. i fire my skinks at his archers drop all but 3 (they pass their test and stay to fight). my other unit of skinks fire at his wizard killing him. the chameleons fire at the calvery. i cause 2 or 3 wounds but he saves. CC my first veteran causes four wounds and destroys the first unit. the second veteran causes 2 woulds and kills his crew.
(no more bolt throwers to worry about) thus ends my turn.
the panicing archers flee off the table.
his calvery charges one of my veterans. he fires some magic spell at a unit of Saurus(i attempt to disspell and do but i also roll double ones, so it fails) he kills 3 of my Saurus. the archers fire at the skinks and kill 2 more(i pass my test agian). CC he strikes first and causes 2 wounds which i save. i have 4 attacks hit and wound on all of them. he fails 3 saves. takes his test and turns and runs(straight into the firing line of chameleons and skinks). i chase him but fall an inch from running him down. thus ends his turn.
no charging. moved the veteran towards the calvery(just in case they survived the blow guns).my magic is disspelled. the chameleons fire first causing no deaths. next i fire 22 shots from the other skinks and kill the rest of his calvery. the other small group by his archers kills the last 3.
thus ends my turn.
he consiedes the battle and states that he was not expecting all the blowpipes.
all in all it came down to the dice. and for the first time i had good rolls, but he was a little unfortunate. it was a good learning experience for the both of us and i dont think i will as good the next game.

p.s. this was my first fatancy victory, i will try and put up other battles as i play every saturday night. the other armies are skaven, dwarfs and chaos.

nice job, but chameloeon skinks are a 0-1 choice, but yeh well done
Good Job. But as stated above you will have to change your army to 1 less units of Cham's.
I'm suprised he didn't have a muscian in his archer unit. For 6 pts that plus 1 rally really helps the elves it takes them from a 8 to a 9.
