Take some pictures! I know some of you must have webcams or digicams. Take a look at www.battlereports.com (which _mostly_ covers computer games like starcraft) to see what a great battlereport can look like.
Yes I have a digital camera. But I don't have the time to take pictures upload them then type a battle report around them.
The Battle report writers take their own time to write them. In story format this can take almost 4 to 5 hours. These are usually not written in one sitting. Notes are usually taken, then a story around the report is though up and finally the report is written. In most cases I write mine during lunch at work. So to take pictures and load them to the computer requires time. Then, I have email them to work, then when I actually start to write the report I have to include the story and make sure it has the pictures I take. All while doing this at work during my lunch break. This has now raised the time to complete the report to about 6 to 8 hours. Lastly, most of those reports that are from Battlereports have a third person take pictures. Otherwised the game gets bogged down when you attempt to take pictures yourself. It's like a TV timeout in football when your at the game. The players lose focus of what they are doing and the same thing happens here.
Remember Reports are free, there is no cost, we use our own spare time to entertain others for free. Lets, be less demanding and more thankful people are will to do them in the first place.
Lastly, lets see some of your battle reports, with pictures then when you realized how hard it is to do them you might think twice.

Yeah, I've seen it done, but it's a lot of work. That's what I buy White Dwarf for in part. The good battle reports with nifty photos and graphics. But if someone wants to do it, go for it!
yes i agree quite heartily with eagle, lol i enjoy the stories written and kno how long it takes (written a few stories myself) dont push it
Dwarf & High Elf, can it work?

Well, all right, if nobody has the time/energy/dedication to do it, that's understandable. It was only a suggestion. And yes, I know exactly how hard it is, I wrote one for a school project once (sorry, it's long lost in school files now, but it wasn't that good anyhow =p), and besides, lots of the battlereporters on BR.com are my (internet) friends. You gotta admit though, pictures would make the battlereports a whole lot more readable and entertaining. And yeah, I like the story-style ones too =]
kudos to everybody who takes the time to make these things for everybody's entertainment.
