Battle Report: 2000 Pts High Elves vs. Sylvania Undead

Ok Everyone. It's been a while, since I have been so busy at work. But I went to a new store and had a game against an army I never played before. Hope you enjoy it. Yes it's long it's the undead they don't break

    Prologue:
Helglen, the elder Archmage, sat in his Tower and continued to write hi memoirs about his adventures during his life. Helglen had just dipped the pen in his ink, when suddenly his great eagle friend Nesra landed perched on his window arch. The bird squawked loudly and Helglen, listen then squawked back. Helglen left his chambers and found Ferelen, his trusted Battle Standard, and friend. “We must prepare and army now!, said Helglen. My eagle Nesra has informed me our lands have been invaded by the Vampires. Ferelen quickly left and gathered the forces, within a few hours all the troops were ready to march to battle against the Vampire Forces…

Jonathon Moor, had been a Von Carstein vampire longer then he could remember, he and his sired thrall Elric Von Weiss, had left the company of their haven after Jonathon a scholar in his human existence had discover the location of a powerful artifact in the Elven homelands. They had brought along their two fallen allies and their bodies in black coaches, one of which was Jonathon’s lover, Helena von cruell the other a friend Albert Sathmon. Jonathon had been searching for this artifact for quite some time. It was taken by the elves when his castle was destroyed by a human and elf alliance, that also slain his two allies. Now he knew the location, and nothing would stop him from obtaining the artifact that could make Helena and Albert rise to un-death again….

    Deployment:
Helglen encouraged his army to move fast, he knew if his army could get to the small village before the Vampires, they would have to cross a river on the other side of the clearing. With luck the High Elves arrived at the village with no sign of the vampires and began to deploy. Helglen, looked at Ferelen, and said “I trust you to lead our army to victory. With that Ferelen began to issue orders to his units: He ordered his Silverhelms to take position on the small road leading through the village. He then turned to give orders to Caeth, but the commander had already picked a spot next to one of the elven buildings with perfect view of the bridge and river before him. Next to him Helglen and spear Elves would deploy. On their flank and slightly back the Repeater Bolt Thrower team set up their weapon. Then came the Swordmasters and Ferelen, with the Dragon princes and Galadrieth on their flank, then the Archers lined up angled towards the bridge. Ferelen looked around for his scouts; he saw them creeping though the building when suddenly one of them put up his hand to stop the rest. Ferelen knew the enemy must have scouts and they arrived before the elves and for now the shadow warriors would have to stay next to the building. Finally, Ferelen noticed an old grave marked between themselves and the river, and then he noticed two more one next to the river and one across from the town adjacent to a Marsh. Ferelen knew they were graves of the families that used to live here before the Dark Elves attack and slaughtered everyone in the village. This place has been left untouched as a reminded of that sad day, and now today more blood elf blood would be spilled..
Suddenly, with a crunching of small twigs and a pounding of hooves the Vampire army appeared on the opposite side of the river. First came a black coach driven by a wraith, Ferelen could see a large H on the side of it. He had only heard of coaches like this never seen one before and looked on in amazement. Next to it was another coach, with a large A on the side of it. Both coach moved forward one up to the Bridge and the other to the river next to the bridge. Following behind the coach on the bridge was a unit of Skeleton, wearing rotten armor and carrying halberds. Across from his archers he saw a unit of Skeletons with Crossbows move up to the river and prepare their weapons. Then he saw them a unit of Templar Drakenhof Knights, being lead by a vampire, but too wide to cross the bridge they strode forward and into the river on the side of the bridge with the water running though the hole in the bone legs of their Nightmares. Next to them a large unit of well armored Drakenhof Wight like creatures on foot being lead by a very old vampire, with their magic blades, glowing an eerie steel blue, appeared and walked between the river and the marsh across from the village. Ferelen knew if they could take him down that head vampire his army would crumble to the dust. In front of them walked a unit of Dire Wolves. Behind the Marsh a unit of giant fell bats landed and awaited their master’s command. Finally, next to the village a small unit of Dire wolves began to howl, they could not be seen from Ferelen’s vantage point, but this must have been what the Shadow Warriors had seen.
    To Battle:
Ferelen knew this stalling tactic was a ploy by the vampire lord to use his fear to his advantage. Ferelen yelled to his Army “Don’t left his fear, deny us a victory. Instead fight harder to destroy the evil that walks on the other side of the battlefield! A cheer went up and the moved out. Ferelen knew that weakening this army before combat was essential. He ordered all of his units to back up slightly, except for the Silver Helms who moved down the road between the buildings and could now see the wolves over a small section of wall that existed. Helglen, decided to test the magical ability of the vampire lord across the way. He held aloft his Ring of Corin, but Jonathon was able to stop the bound spell with his magic. Next he attempt to concentrate and ghostly figure appeared and began to pass though Helglen, this disrupted his concentration, he concentrated harder and was able to summon a dark cloud of magic that flew towards the Drakenhof Knights, but a the last moment Jonathon read a scroll and stopped it. Helglen didn’t know what these spirits were but they obviously were controlled by the Vampires. Ferelen saw Helglen magic was stopped and yelled “Open fire! The Repeater Bolt Thrower fired a volley into the Drakenhof Knights, but only one fell from his saddle into the river. Caeth opened fire with his Reaver bow, but none of the arrow penetrated the Templars armour. The Shadow Warrior long bows sang and 3 of the Wolf protecting the Vampire lord turned to dust. Finally, the archers opened fire on the Crossbow skeletons, using arrows with large rocks tied to them and 1 of the smashed a skeleton to dust.
Jonathon laughed to himself and thought if that’s the best they have, we will crush them swiftly. Jonathon knew the Elven attack was concentrated on his Knights, he telepathically told both his hounds, and fell bats to fly in front of the Templars. He then ordered his other hounds by the village forward and they moved around the wall to face the Silver Helms unit. Helena’s black coach surged forwards across the bridge with the Halberd skeletons following behind. Meanwhile, The Templars, crossbowmen and Albert’s Black Coach continued to cross the river. Jonathon moved his unit forward slightly, held his hands up, and commanded troops to rise from the dead, suddenly at all of the grave markers zombies and skeletons of fallen elves began to rise. Helglen, dispelled the zombies at the grave marker in-front of his army, but allowed the others to continue to rise, deciding to save his magic for whatever else the Vampire had in store. Thus 5 zombies crawled out of the ground next to the swamp and behind the hounds that just moved by. At the same time 9 zombies rose from the Graves near the river then moved in front of Jonathon’s unit taking the place of the hounds that moved to protect the Templars. Jonathon then attempted to summon more wolves into the wolf unit now facing the Silver Helms, but Helglen stopped it with a dispel scroll. Jonathon now angered by the High Elf mage failed to concentrate and when attempting cast Dances Macabre on the wolves and charge them into the Silverhelms miscast in a blinding flash and his magic was temporarily drained.
The Silverhelms acted almost instantly and charged forward plowing into the Dire Wolves in front of them spearing 2 wolves on their lances while there horse trampled 2 more, there magic could no longer sustain there bodies and the rest crumbled to the ground in a pile of dust. The victorious Silverhelms overran into the elven zombies that just rose from their grave behind the Wolves.
Helglen had seen the Fell Bats and hounds move to protect the Templar Knights, but he also realized the Fell bats were with striking distance of the Repeater Bolt Thrower now. Even though he saw the Black Coach now across the bridge he moved his spearelves forward to block the bats view of the machine. Knowing the elves would probably need the machine to destroy the coaches. Ferelen saw Helglen’s unit bravely move forward as did the rest of the Elven units and they all moved forward slightly to protect his flank.
Helglen pointed his Ring of Corin at the Drakenhof Templars, Jonathon attempted to dispel it, but failed and the magic glowing standard of the Templars stopped glowing it’s magic gone completely. Helglen then summon more magic and directed it towards the Fell Bats in front of the Templars, Jonathon was powerless to stop it and even the Spectral Ghost taunting Helglen did not help (Author’s Note: Ultimate Force). One Fell Bat wounded while a hound nearby was hit and turned to dust also. The rest of the giant bats were almost sucked into a black pit in the ground and it would take time for them to get back out. (Author’s Note: half movement on the Fell Bats).
The Repeater Bolt Thrower crew understood Helglen’s strategy and fired a single bolt at the Black Coach that had just crossed the bridge. The Bolt hit the Coach Dead One, but a magic field surrounding the coach protected it from harm (Author’s Note: He made his ward save).
Next to Helglen Caeth knew that Helglen wanted the Bats dead and so he fired 3 shots from his Reaver Bow turning 1 bat to dust and wounding another. The Shadow Warriors also unleashed a volley and another bat turned to dust. Finally, the archer unleashed their arrows with deadly accuracy and the 2 Dire Wolves standing in front of the Templars both turned to dust destroying the unit.
Helena’s Black Coach had just finished crossing the bridge and charged forward slamming into the High Elf spear wall. Simultaneously, the lone fell bats charged into the spear unit also. Helglen’s staunchly ordered his unit to hold their ground, which they did, overcoming the terror and fear. The coach crushed 3 elves under its wheels on impact. Their spirits sucked from their bodies and absorbed by the coach. However, its horses and Wraith driver were both unable to kill any more elves. The last Fell Bat clawed and bit at Helglen, but the old elf stunningly avoided the blows, In return, Helglen and the Spearelves struck back, but the coach was almost impregnable to the spears and none of them had any effect. The overwhelming numbers of elves, and their tight formation caused and unstable affect on both the Black Coach and the Fell Bat. The bat turned to dust while 2 of the spirits the coach had just absorbed broke free and dissipated. Helglen knew this combat would continue and that was exactly what the Vampire Lord wanted.
Helglen looked around for help, but saw the poor Silverhelms by the marsh fully engaged with Zombies and even though they struck down 6 the zombies continued to hold leaving only a few left. The rest of the Silverhelms, lapped around to encircle the zombies. While the rest of his units were too far away to aid him. They would have to hold out a little longer, he thought to himself.
Jonathon saw the Elven wizards dilemma and commanded, “Take them down while they are engaged with the Coach. The Skeleton Levy of Halberds had now finished crossing the bridge and marched towards the combat as did Jonathon’s unit of Drakenhof Guard. The other Black Coach and the crossbow wielding Skeletons walked through the river, water dripping off their bones as they exited. The Drakenhof Knights had seen their screen destroyed, and moved out of the river heading toward the combat between the Black Coach and the spear elves.
Jonathon then commanded the dead to arise from their gravestones, and Helglen once again dispelled the magic to the gravestone on their side of the river, but from the other 2 gravestones the fallen elves arose once more. This time 9 more elven zombies crawled out of the ground, and joined the unit currently fighting the Silverhelms. From the final grave stone near the river 5 Elven Skeletons emerged with halberds in hand and quickly marched towards the rear of the Silverhelms currently fighting the zombies. Jonathon sensed the Elven wizard had held back on dispelling his magic once again, and attempted to summon wolves behind the elf lines, but Helglen, easily dispelled. Jonathon then waved his hand toward the Skeleton Halberd unit and they magically charged forward towards the Dragon Princes and Galadrieth, but ended short of them. This now blocked the Dragon Princes from aiding Helglen in his combat
Galadrieth knew he couldn’t help Helglen; he would have to fend for himself. He also saw the Halberd Levy unit in front of him. He realized they had underestimated the Dragon Princes ability to maneuver. He pointed at the black coach that just crossed the river and his unit of Dragon Princes charged forward and wheel past the Halberd Skeleton unit and into the Black Coach(Author’s Note: Love that 18 charge). As they reached the Black Coach their glowing banner caused unstableness in the Coach weakening it. Then Galadrieth hacked at the coach with his great sword and part of the wheel almost fell off. The rest of the princes and horse failed to harm the coach, but were able to dodge its counter attacks by the Wraith driver and its skeleton horses. The Coach became unstable and fell apart completely leaving on the coffin with Albert’s dusty body remaining on the ground trampled by hooves and the Dragon Prince overran across the river and behind the undead lines. Almost at the same time the High Elf archers opened fire on the Skeleton Crossbowmen near the river and 3 fell broken to the ground.
Across the battle field Repeater Bolt Thrower crew could now see the Drakenhof Knights and fired a volley of bolts at them, but the bolts failed to penetrate the Knights armour. Caeth then took to the air on his Great Eagle and landed on the road inside of the town. He drew back his Reaver Bow and fired at the Drakenhof Knights, the arrows hit target, but they also failed to penetrate the Knights armour. Next, the shadow warriors in the town moved to the safety of the wall and fired at the elven zombies heading toward the Silverhelms rear. 2 zombies stopped walking a fell to the ground with bolts in their heads.
In the middle of the battlefield, Helglen and his Spearelves continued to fight against the Black Coach in front of them. The fight was intense neither side could land a blow, and then the Wraith with his scythe chopped an elf spear in two pieces. Even so the elves were gaining advantage in the combat and the coach became even more unstable losing more spirits it contain, but still the coach remained. What did it take to kill this thing Helglen thought to himself, as he watched the Vampire and his unit move closer to the combat.
Helglen realized the Vampire Lord was so entranced in getting into combat he might have dropped his magic defense. Helglen pointed his ring of Corin at the Vampire Lord; the magic banner of the unit the lord was in began to glow. Helglen now knew the banner gave the unit so magic defense. But even so the ring illuminated the vampire and showed he was wearing a ring also. The ring the vampire was wearing suddenly turned to dust and fell from his hand (Author’s Note: He had magic resistance level 2 vs. the bound spell level 4 so he decided to just roll them. He rolled a snake eyes, and the ring was drained). Jonathon then focused and stopped the rest of Helglen’s spells.
Across the battle field near the marsh the Silverhelms continued to battle with the Elven Zombies and destroyed the last one by trampling him. But the helms were too exhausted from combat to overrun and stopped to rest. Just as they were relaxing the champion of the unit Jaserx, noticed more zombies coming from behind them and before they knew it they were in combat again and caught off guard(Author’s Note: Failed Fear test, but I out numbed them so I needed sixes to hit). Even so Jaserx killed one of the zombies before he struck a blow, while one of the other helms killed another. The zombies attacked back, but the Helms armour protected them from harm, and the Zombies magic hold weakened.
In the middle of the battle field the Drakenhof Knights and Elric as well as the Halberdier’s charged the Swordmasters and Ferelen. The Knights realized they were not in striking distance and stopped their charge, while the Halberd Levy also seemed out of range, but Jonathon summoned magic power and directed it into the Halberd unit, Helglen was too involved in combat to dispel it (Authors Note: I rolled a snake eyes and failed) and they were lifted in the air and charged into the Swordmasters and Ferelen. The Skeletons Halberd struck first, but the skill of the Swordmasters was great and none of the Halberds hit their mark. In return 4 Skeletons were cut down 2 by Ferelen himself. This caused 4 more skeletons to turn to dust as their magic became unstable. However, this now meant Helglen’s last hope to aid his unit was now cut off.
The Elven archers opened fire once more and 2 more crossbow wielding skeletons fell to the ground.
In the middle of the battlefield Jonathon summoned more dead from the graves, this time all skeletons 8 with halberds near the Silver Helms, and 6 with crossbows in the river facing the Dragon princes flank. Once again, Helglen was able to stop the skeletons rising from the Grave marker near the elf line. Jonathon was infuriated by the Elf wizard and moved his unit of Drakenhof Guard on the wizards flank prepared to charge them next turn and destroy him. As he did this he saw Helglen and Spear Elves destroy the Black Coach of his beloved Helena.
Helglen and the rest of the Spearelves now saw the trap Jonathon had laid for them, but there was still a chance to escape. The Drakenhof Templars had now exposed their flank to the Spear Elves and Helglen knew if he could charge and destroy them his could avoid the flank charge by the Vampire Lord and his unit. The Shadow warriors ran between the Vampire Lord and Helglen’s unit stopping just behind the Drakenhof Knights, Helglen attempted to summon a spell and this time he directed it towards the Shadow Warriors, Suddenly they began to glow and surge toward the Knights, but then stopped as Jonathon cancelled the spell (Authors Note: I rolled a 10 to cast Unseen Lurker on 3 dice with the -1 for Spectral and he rolled a 10 on 2 dice to stop it). Helglen focused his concentration and summoned a spell that gave the spear elves a sense of strength and confidence making them immune to fear. Jonathon attempted to stop it, but the spell was too powerful. Then Helglen and the Spear Elves charged forward into the flank of the Drakenhof Knights. The rest of the elves saw Helglen’s strategy and attempted to help him the best they could. In a last desperate attempt to protect Helglen’s flank Caeth and Nesra charged into the flank of the Drakenhof Guard. Nesra ripped one of the Wight’s to pieces with his talons, but Caeth failed to get through their armour. In return, the Drakenhof Guard failed to hit anything, out numbered Caeth fled hoping to have Jonathon and his unit pursue, but Jonathon would have none of it and ordered his unit to hold. He wanted the Elven wizard as his prized and nothing was going to keep him from it.
Jonathon watched as Helglen and the Spear Elves fought against the Drakenhof guard, but failed to kill any and in return one elf had his head removed. Jonathon felt the magic of the unit drain and the rest of the Drakenhof guard crumbled to dust leaving on his Thrall Elric, but that was enough to stall the spearelves and exactly what Jonathon needed. (Note: I put one wound on the thrall, due to combat resolution. If I would have gotten off my rear charge with the shadow warriors I would have gotten +2 more that might crumbled Elric and allowed me an over run. Darn Spectral Assistants).
Jonathon summoned magic power and increased his and the Drakenhof Guard unit with lighting Reflexes (Authors Note: Hellish Vigor) then charged his unit into the Helglen and spearelves flank. Jonathon slayed 5 spearelves with his lightning quick strikes, while another spear elf was killed by a Drakenhof Guard. In return the elves couldn’t wound anyone and Elric killed another elf. Helglen and the Spear Elves could not hold, broke and fled from the combat. Jonathon commanded Elric to follow them and told his unit to let them go as soon the Swordmasters would be done with the Skeletons and ready for us. Elric chased down the fleeing Elves and trampled Helglen with his nightmare sending elves scattering in every direction.
Behind this slaughter the Swordmasters and Ferelen continued to hack the Halberd wielding warriors into bone piles and 5 more fell to their elven weapons, while this severely weakened the Skeletons they continued to battle.
Across the battle field, near the marsh the Silver Helms continued their battle with more zombies getting the better of them and slaying 3 more, while taking no casualties in return. The helms lapped around the remaining zombies and encircled them. With Helglen, gone fate stepped in perhaps some unknown magic of the place, but no more skeletons arose from the graves. Jaserx sword he saw a young mans spirit pushing the boney creatures back into the dirt (Authors Note: On 2 grave markers I rolled 1 die each and both time because of the +1 I dispelled them).
However, in the middle of the battlefield by the river 10 more elven skeleton arose from their graves armed with hand weapons. With no wizard to stop him, Jonathon summoned magic and directed at the skeletons behind the Silverhelm and they magically lifted in the air and charged into the Helms. Once again Jaserx and the helms were bogged down.
Finally, skeleton levy armed with crossbows near the grave site by the river fired at the Dragon Princes and Ferelen, but the elven armour turned aside their bolts.
Battles were going on all over the place, The Silverhelms were attacked the zombies and skeletons, in an amazing display 4 zombies and 2 skeletons were killed this wiped out the zombies, but the skeletons still remained. In return, the skeleton failed to wound any Silverhelms. This caused major magic disturbance and the Skeletons turned into dust and blew away in the wind leaving Jaserx and the Helms free from combat and so they turned around and moved back towards the middle of the battle field hoping to aid the remaining elf units.
At the same time the Swordmasters and Ferelen finished destroying the last of the Skeleton Halberdiers. This left them free to move and they charged into Jonathon and the Drakenhof Guard units, undaunted due to their Standard of Balance. While at the same time the Shadow Warriors charged into the rear of the Drakenhof guard. Jonathon issued a challenge which was bravely accepted by the Swordmaster champion. Jonathon easily parried the champion’s attacks and then dispatched the champion with 2 quick blows. Ferelen and the rest of the Swordmasters were able to kill 3 Drakenhof Guard, and avoid any casualties in return while the Shadow Warriors failed to do any damage and had one of there kind decapitated. Jonathon struggle to maintain his magic hold on the Drakenhof Guard, but 3 more of them turned to dust.
Meanwhile the Dragon Princes and moved around and charged across the river and into the rear of the remaining crossbow skeletons, their banner of Arcane Protection destroyed the unit completely without any combat, but holding up the unit in the process (Authors Note: If one skeleton survived until close combat I could have won and overrun, possibly into Elric.)
Elric was busy hacking down some of the fleeing elves when he was hit by a single large bolt from the Elven Repeating Bolt Thrower, but amazingly the bolt failed to wound him. Instead he saw a new bunch of elves ripe for the slaughter. The elven archers were directly in front of him. The Elven archers saw Elric preparing to charge them and increased their rank preparing for his charge. Elric charged forward, elven arrows bouncing off of his army and into the Archers, Elric slashed back and forth with his sword killing 2 archers and 1 more was trampled by his horse. The archers had no chance to attack back. But due to their number, ranks and standard they held their ground firmly.
While this was going on the Battle between Ferelen’s Swordmasters and Jonathon’s Drakenhof Guard continued. Jonathon was able to cast magic at his will he summoned and he summoned a magic force and on his unit giving them lightning reflexes (Hellish Vigor). Jonathon then challenged again and this time Ferelen had to accept of lose face with the Elves. He accepted and was cut down by Jonathon’s blazing fast strike leaving his Armour of the Gods chopped in 2 pieces (Authors Note: 5 Attack with reroll Yikes)
The rest of the Drakenhof Guard, slayed another Swordmaster and 1 more Shadow Warrior. In return, the Swordmaster killed 2 Drakenhof Guards, but with Ferelen their leader dead they broke and ran from combat. (Authors Note: I only needed a 7 to stay, but with no BSB to re-roll. I rolled and 8 and fled. Of course I rolled a 3 for the Shadow Warriors who were no longer out numbered by the Drakenhof Guard) . Jonathon’s unit couldn’t chase the Swordmasters because they were still locked in combat with the Shadow Warriors. But not for long as the Shadow Warriors attempted to last another round with the Drakenhof Guard another had his head removed. This sent the last 3 Shadow warriors fleeing towards the Bridge. Jonathon held his unit in place preparing to charge the Swordmasters if they rallied.

Jonathon now had no one to stop his spells and dead rose from every grave, but amazingly the Skeletons rising from the grave near the elven line failed to rise completely and turned to dust (Authors Note: He rolled a 4 for the number of skeletons thus it failed). However, in both of the other graves, 7 and 11 skeleton rose from them. The 11 were then magically moved forward by Jonathon and perfect wall behind Jonathon and the Drakenhof guard protecting their rear from attack, while the 7 other skeleton appeared next to the Silverhelms. Jonathon then summoned a large unit of Wolves 14 to be exact that crawled out of the ground and formed in front of the Repeater Bolt Thrower crew.
By the town the skeletons that had been steadily moving down the road towards the Repeater Bolt Thrower Crew had now left the road and were preparing to the machine.
Jonathon laughed loudly and thought “We no one to challenge me, I’m invincible.
Just then he saw Galadrieth and the Dragon Prince charge into the back of Elric who was busy fighting the archers. And to his horror Galadrieth struck with his great sword and Elric turned to dust. Jonathon yelled loudly “Nooo!! You will pay for this Elven Fools.
In the middle of the battlefield, Jaserx and the Silver Helms charged into the newly summoned Skeletons protecting the rear of Jonathon’s unit. They slashed 4 of the skeletons to bones and 4 more crumbled due to instability, but still they managed to hold their ground.
At this time Caeth had rallied and both he and Nesra landed on the opposite side of the marsh, firing his Reaver bow in the Skeleton crossbows in the River and killing 3 of them. The archers fired back, but their aim was terrible and not one bolt even got close.
Caeth then heard howl of wolves and saw that a large unit of Wolves along with some skeletons had just finished killed both of the Repeater Bolt Thrower crew and were dining on their flesh.
Caeth then saw the Silverhelms hacking down more skeletons but they knew it wouldn’t matter the skeleton would just be reanimated.
Lastly, he saw the Swordmaster rally and turn to face the Drakenhof Guard and Jonathon.
Jonathon now dominated with magic Skeletons roses from every grave. And once again Jonathon empowered his remaining unit with lightning reflexes (Hellish Vigor). Then his unit charged into the Swordmasters. Jonathon was dead once again and 5 Swordmaster fell to his Great weapon, and 1 more to his Drakenhof Guard. The Swordmasters broke and fled running off the battlefield.
    Epilogue:
As Jonathon looked around he saw the Dragon Princes and Galadrieth wheeling towards him. He strategically moved his skeletons to block them and then he retreated from the battlefield. Knowing he lost his beloved and two friends, he would have his revenge. But first he needed to rest. The battle had taken much out of him and he felt his power draining and his spell to protect him from daylight starting to fade. With that he left the battlefield.
As Jonathon left he stopped the magic that animated the Skeletons and Wolves, and they all turned to dust. Galadrieth, rushed to check on his fallen allies, Helglen was badly hurt, but still breathing. Unfortunately, Ferelen was gone, his body too broken to be repaired. Ferelen, struggled to talk, but told Galadrieth to take the banner and fight on in memory of him. With that Ferelen passed on. Galadrieth looked to the heaven and swore he would have revenge on Jonathon he walked over to the fallen vampires and gathered their remains. Helglen then set them on fire with a spell, so they would never hurt anyone again….

Yup, I'll add to the chorus that I'm glad to see your reports. Have you seen Blackhat's Battlemap? That might be something cool to incorporate once it's fully working.

Anyhow, thanks for posting. I always enjoy reading your reports.

    Yep, but..

At least the Elves didn't get their butt handed to them, by the Undead. That's what he meant to say.
