id just like to open a new thread for creative people to post their self created themed armies. it would be fun too see what people can come up with:yes:
Well for a start, elves don't have too many options.
You could use the SOC list for the Seagaurd army. It would be easy to represesnt Telis's Sea of Claws force with that.
You could also give your general a Lion Cloak so that the army can take more than one unit of lions and make it the force that intercepts the undead.
The basic idea is all there. The empire and the more flexible/newer armies have more option that the elves, but it's going to be tougher for the elves to do anything themed because all of their themes involve 0-1 units!
following the story i posted on the dwarves of khaz thuzad:
all slayer units are unavailible (these dwarves have no realtion whatsoever with the traditions of the holds in the mountains).
thunderers are a 0-1 choice and don't add up to the minimum amount of core choices in your army.
cannons are a rare choce.
oragan guns flame cannons and gyrocopters are unavailible to the army
master engineers are not allowed to use hand guns unless they are with a unit of thunderers.
the army general may not use any weapons that require gunpowder.
now for the good stuff : all dogs of war cavalry units (not regiments of reknown) count as a special choise in addition to this the army of khaz thuzad may use dogs of war and special character from the wood elves and brettonians only.
