I know the issue has been FAQ'd by GW to say that standard frenzy gives a mount an extra attack but MoK does not not. However, the wording in the army book is "Remember that..." and therefore as there is no longer a rule to remember should that not mean RAW is that they should follow the normal frenzy rules?
Again, I know GW has FAW'd this and therefore called it, but I was just wondering on RAW lawyers opinion on this.
Well im of the opinion the Army Book's rules should override the main rulebook, as its prevents everything being so streamlined. Otherwise we will just end up like 40K...
Im also pretty happy that GW has FAQ'd this, as considering how hard Khorne Chariots and Knights are anyway, those extra attacks could have been very nasty.
Also i think RAW is a bat of a silly idea sometimes, basically it means people can look beyond the intended and exploit gaps in the rules, and the tiniest gap can lead to the stupidist thing.
It is handy that GW have FAQ'd it. Otherwise the new rule book should over ride the chaos book as it was printed more recently.
