Is it possible to take more than one of the same army specific magic banner? Specifically, can a Tomb King Army take more than one Banner of the Undying Legion? I know you can have multiple War banners because they're common items but I'm thinking since it's not under common you can only take one per army. Also could someone clarify the restrictions on army specific magic items in general?
Edit: "No specific magic item can be carried by more than one model in the army. (eg there cannot be two models equipped with a sword of striking in the same army). Scrolls are an exception to this". - Page 120, Paragraph 5.

No magic item can be taken more than once in an army. Not even Common magic items. 'Common' just refers to the fact they are common to every army, but you may still only take a maximum of 1 of each.
The rules clearly specify when you can take multiples of the same item. Follow that, and you won't go wrong.
Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
the only exception to this rule (once again) are dwarves, who follow their own rules for magic items. ;Y
but for all otehr armies you can only have 1 of any single magic item. common or not
