How does a mounted character within an infantry unit exactely work, concerning ranks? How should the character be placed?
Counting as 2 ranks?
Counting as 3 ranks?
Just somewhere completely on the side?
What would be the rank bonus gotten by the units above? Can the mounted character even be placed within the middle of the unit?
A Tau Ethereal was thought to have been killed today by a Bloodthirster. However, many Tau were seen fleeing the scene and are considered suspects.
Picture one will get 3 ranks.
Pic 2 will have 2 ranks
Pic 3 is probably an example of the best way to join a mounted Character to a unit for simplifying things, and that gets 3 ranks.
just clarifying under the new rules. if a mounted character joins a infantry unit with "at least 5 rank and file models" then he can't get shot at right? this is the change i saw from the old rules in that mounted models could be picked out amongst infantry but with those rules it doesn't say that they have to be the same unit type. am i reading this wrong?
Thou shalt remember:
Warhammer Fantasy armies do NOT have Codices. They have Army Books.
