Let's say I give my Ogre Tyrant the Wyrdstone, meaning he might go stupid. He joins a unit of Maneaters, which are Immune to Psychology. Non-ItP units that join ItP units gain ItP. Did I just lawyer my way around Stupidity?
The question came up in my old gaming group by someone who would love to find such a loophole.
I see nowhere that being ItP makes you immune to stupidity. In fact, while a creature is Stupid, it is ALSO ItP. I'm not sure where this guy is getting his "loophole".
Your lawyer friend should stop and read the rules that he's using! ItP is not some kind of blanket get out of free card that exempts you from the entire Psychology chapter. It generally only affects relates to panic fear and terror.
if you check the rules book you will find that immune to psycology will only exempt you from panic, fear and terror tests. stupidity is not mentioned. in addition being itp will protect your from a range of items and spells.
the crux of the matter however is that itp doesn't protect you from stupidity.

[16:19] <@Alzer> Arky's right though
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> I know he is.
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> He usually is.
[16:20] <@Kaiser-> Sometimes it's intentional.
[00:01] <+zubus> i love you, ya skirt wearin nothern monkey! ^_^
He can no longer put the Mawseeker in a unit of Maneaters to absolve him of stupidity. I believe that was a trick that could have been used in 6th ed. Now you get to laugh at the guy and tell him to catch up withthe times! Closest thing to being immune to stupidity is if he takes the Jade Lion because it allows re-rolls of psychology tests.
Bottom line a tyrant with wyrdstone will not be stupid in a ITP unit. He will be stupid if he takes mawseeker though. In a way your friend was right but only because he suffers from stupidity himself.
Well, as has been said, ItP doesnt mean Immune to Stupidity (common misconception this, i only discovered it recently)
But, if the Tyrant is with the Maneaters, and he ecomes stupid, then the maneaters will be bound by his movement as per characters etc joining units, the lowest most compulsry move is used for the whole unit.
