What is the go with the allocating attacks, ie ewach model gets to choose the model that get hit by it's attacks. As a rival of mine continues to target my characters (im a VC player so I really need them), including my necromancer.
I have heard that this only applies to units with 5 or less models however I don't know.
How victory may be produced for them out of the enemy's
own tactics--that is what the multitude cannot comprehend.
"Quantity has a Quality of it's own"
Your opponent can allocate which models of yours are attacked in hand to hand combat, so yes, he can choose to attack your necromancer, as long as the models attacking him are in base contact with him.
He can't choose which models are hit from shooting or magic, unless the unit counts five models or less. If it is 6+ models large, the character won't get hit, 5 or less and the hits are randomised.
There are some exeptions, though, such as challenges, and templates etc.
