Are Large targets(not Large monsters) with 5 wounds (like greater daemons) only unit size 3 because of their base or 5 because of their wound? I had someone using bloodthirster in my flank and negated it but at that time i couldnt find anything that would prove him wrong...
models on a monster sized base, like greater daemons, have US equal to their starting number of wounds.
I've never heard of the term "large monster"
Ehm, I humbly point to page 30 in the Demons of Chaos book, where in a highlighted box (well, rather grey than highlighted, but still) is explicitly stated that greater demons (and d-princes) are monsters as well as characters.their stat doesnt say "large monster" though?
And for the US of a monster, see BRB., page 71
It ain't easy bein' green... :-)
I don't have much sumpathy here though - at the end of the day it is your responsibility to know your army and realise that he has a US3. Also - don't really understand how US3 doesn't outnumber an Alter (I presume you mean and Alter by the 18" charge thing)...did he have help?
