What exactly falls under magical attacks when attacking Malekith of the Dark Elves? It says he gets a 2+ ward vs non magical attacks? Does that mean all magical weapons too, because I find it incredibly rediculous that a sword of striking could say ignore his ward all-together...Just because you can hit at +1 shouldn't mean his magical ward is ignored..
Nids 2500pts and Breeding!
Yes, it does. Sorry to break it to you, but if a weapon comes from the "magic items" section of a book, it has magical attacks.
A few other things that have magical attacks: Grail Knights, all Daemons, anything with the Ethereal special rule, and all spells, just to name a few.
Ignoring a ward save is ridiculous? I'd say having a 2+ ward against everything is a bit more ridiculous.
(Also, 200th post!)

No, I don't have any wool.
All magical attacks mean all magic weapons and spells. Also all Daemons will ignore his ward along with other units that have magical attacks, such as Grail Knights. I have to agree with BlackSheep on this one. I don't think anyone who has a 2+ ward save should complain about it having ways to be negated.
^What they said.
Basically you need to pick your fights with him and make sure he doesn't get charged by magical people.
yup all Magic based attacks so all magic weapons all runic weapons
All Dwarf war machines wth runes cry
and all magic spells (but his sheild sorts these out)
basicly use him to smash mundane troops to pieces avoid other lord levels as they are bound to have magic weapons but hey he has a 3+ armour save basic any way and theres his dragon to eat their faces so hell just throw him at any one

Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.Originally Posted by amishcellphone
