I just recently got my first Bull Rhinox Rider and am playing around with different ways to field it. I was thinking about running it with a tyrant that has longstrider. Seems like it'd be one nasty unit. The question I have is how does shooting accure against this unit?
You have 2 models, 1 is a lord and the other is a large target. Do they have to just shoot at one or the other, or do they get the +1 to hit the unit and then randomize the hits?
Thanks for any help.

Hmm, good question. Usually since you have less than five models in the unit, you'd allocate hits and randomize any that remain. But since your to hit rolls are different for each model, I'm not sure. I'd go with your last solution. Let's move this to the rules forum and see what you get.
If the unit has the special rule large target so it would be +1 to hit the unit and then hits are allocated evenly. If there is an odd number of hits then the last one would be randomised. I.E. 5 hits would be 2 on the tyrant, two on the rider and one randomised between the two.
If this is indeed the case then you would be better off running them as two units next to each other I would guess!

Mm, that is a puzzler. I think I agree with StarShower. You'd fire on the combined unit at +1 and then divide hits between the two models.
