    Spider Riders and Fortress Walls

I am playing in a large scale Seige battle soon with my O&Gs. I was planning on using Gobbo Spider Riders as a unit to attack the walls/towers, since they have the ability to ignore difficult terrain (called wall climbers or something like that).

Would this ability allow me to scale the walls like a unit with grappling hooks, more like charging out of a seige tower , or neither ? If they get to charge, then the warmachine crews will be !

    Thanks,
    Mechgumbi

I'm not sure if these guys are covered under the current rules but I remember under older versions of Siege they were able to scale walls (counting the height as part of movement distances). If they charged a unit at the top of the wall then the defenders recieved a defended obstacle bonus but not the normal castle wall bonuses.
No more NG spearmen, thanks! Now I need some pump-wagons!
