So the new FAQ responds to queries about ward saves/magic items that provide a save against missile attacks. What, it's asked, is a "missile" attack? GW answered that missile attacks are any attacks made during the shooting phase. Such ward saves/magic items provide protection against whatever attacks made during that phase.
So this has got to be advantageous to someone like a Wood Elf player with Glamourweave.
I'm thinking of Dwarf Anvil damage. Breath weapons. Banshee attacks.
Does it strike any of you as odd that examples like the three above are now protected against? Beyond those three, what else is out there that occurs during shooting but might not involve a 'shooting' unit in the sense of some machine that propels some sort of projectile?
