Lets say I charge with 3 knights + 1 hero with the talisman of loec.
In the battle my hero uses the talisman and my opponent inflicts 1 wound on him.
Despite this, I win the battle and my opponent flees.
1. Do I get to follow with my hero before he dies from the talisman?
2. If yes to first question, do I need to take a panic test at the end of the turn for suffering 25% casulties?
1. Yes, the wound happens at the end of the combat phase, after all flee and pursuit moves.
2. Yes, you lost 1/4 of your unit, are not in combat so you can panic. If you happened to overrun into another enemy unit, then you wouldn't need to take the test.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
Not familiar with the talisman, but as for your 2) question, SirKently is correct. But see page 49 of BRB under 25% casualties. It specifically states to take the panic test when caused by magical effects. You also need to take the test when the casualties occur. If the magical effect takes place after flee/pursue moves and you pursued into a fresh enemy, no test needed. Not in combat, you have to test.
