The banner makes you immune to magic - as in magic spells in the magic phase. So only spells from the Daemonic Lores and any gifts classed as bound spells are affected.

Anything else that is magical remains unaffected.

Having an army and not owning a rulebook is like owning a car with no steering wheel.

Thank you, but this does not make the result of the miasma clear to me, as that spell changes the caster and then effects the models in base contact.

It sure is, but what is the difference between a spell that changes the caster so that enemy models in base contact have reduced stats or a magic weapon (gift) that does more damage and autowounds (balesword) or noxious vapours that lets the gifted model go first in most cases?
