    Flee & Pursuit

A single model (wood elf) flees from a unit of 5 (Chaos) knights. He (single model) rolls a 6 on his flee and the knights roll a 4 (yeah it was a 1's and 2's day) There is a unit of 20 Wood Elves 3" behind the single model. He cant flee through them because of unit strength, so do the Knights still kill the fleeing model because they would have charged into the fleeing unit? Also, are the knights then placed 1" from the unit of 20? Or can they engage the larger unit as well because they are supposed to move their full Pursuit distance?

If this is covered somewhere else please point me in the right direction, Thanks!

He flees through the unit, and if he doesn't have enough move to clear them, he is placed right behind them., so do the Knights still kill the fleeing model because they would have charged into the fleeing unit? Also, are the knights then placed 1" from the unit of 20?There choice. They can declare a charge on the unit, or choose to remain 1" away, assuming that this is within there normal movement. If this would take them over there normal movement value, they would either have to charge the block troops, or move there failed charge movement. Or can they engage the larger unit as well because they are supposed to move their full Pursuit distance?

I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
