I have a quick question about magical standards. If i upgrade a unit (in this case tomb king chariots) with a magical standard for X points do i need to also pay Y points for a standard bearer for the unit? Or can i just buy the magic standard and not pay (nor get the benefits of) a normal standard bearer? The codex simply says the unit can be upgraded with a magical standard. I believe i need to but if i can save myself 20 points it'll be nice.
"I've seen you humans trying to forge an empire in the name of a corpse. I have seen your churches to the machine. Racially, your fear and superstitions are most gratifying. You will make excellent subjects"
Your believe is correct. You have to pay for a standard bearer before you can take a magical standard.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
