A few days ago, I sent a mail to the Games workshop rule support, cause I had a pretty though question:And I got the answerSent: 11 October 2004 16:20

Subject: Character Question
In the border prince campaign, can i use the goblin extra big boss for each 1k of points rule even if i dont have a town? Wouldn't like getting rid of that rule just because its a campaign. In the flash of a blade, my question was turned into something completely irrelevant.Hello there,
Thank you for your recent email that you sent to us at Games Workshop.
In reply to your email i shall presume that you meant Border Patrol for Warhammer fantasy.
Anyway Border Patrol pacifically specifies that you should only take 500 points worth of an army as it supposed to only last between 30-60 minutes at the most.
I hope this clears up any query you might of had if you still require some assistance please do not hesitate to contact us via email or phone.
Do you people had any problems with the rule answering of GW? Should I just stop bothering to send mails to them?
Had the same problems. I sent them like 5 requests before they finally could give me a definition of a hill.

Not to mention half the time once they DO give you a relevant answer its wrong.
Rules Boyz are absolutely useless. You can take something that they've written to you and signed even, and it will be worth nothing at an official tournament. This is because they aren't allowed to set any standards for the game.
Since most important rules questions involve something that hasn't been cleared up already, then they can help you with absolutely nothing.
I wouldn't even bother writing an email to them.
