If a skaven hell pit which has just entered the board edge (from running off in the previous turn), use its random movement to take it into contact with a enemy unit and still class as a ‘charge’ or must it remain within 1” of the enemy unit due to not been able to charge while coming on from the board edge?
Yes, it can. Random Movement means that you don't have to declare a charge, it just happens if you get into contact. Since you are allowed to move but not declare charges when coming onto the board, the Pit can still get itself into contact. It's no fun for the guy in front of the pit, but it can be done.
thanks this was my thought but the opponent was very argumentative
