So the number crew equals the number of wounds on the machine. so as you lose crew members you are essentially taking away from the unit. if the crew dies so does the machine. so if i hit a repeater bolt thrower that has 2 crew with missile weapons and kill one, is that essentially taking 50% casualties thus requiring a panic test? same as with canon shots and other war machines.
i have not been playing that way and have not seen it done, so was wondering what was wrong with my logic. from what i remember if a war machine panics it just can't fire the next turn as it hides under the machine.
The warmachine has 3 wounds. The crew is only used to count these wounds. So they will never panic because of lost crew. Sort of like a monster. You do 2 wounds to a 5 wound monster, it isn't going to panic.
I am right 94% of the time, why worry about the other 3%.
kk thx. that was my other logic, but seems a little weird. like i said i have been playing it correctly but was just wondering why. lol
