in some of the codexs ive been reading, in your battles it sometimes requires you to take an initiative test, toughness, or strength test. what are these and how do u take them?
Roll a d6. You want to roll under your (I, S, T) value. 6's always fail.
Just like taking a leadership test, but with only one d6.
I think it's equal to or under.
I don't think so, but I'm not 100%, and I don't have my book in front of me. I think that characteristic tests are just 'don't roll over'.
They're charateristic tests. On p.39 of the warhammer rules book it says that you roll d6 and have to get equal to or less than the characteristic's (eg. strength, tougness, initiative) value . Hope this clarifies things!
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
Down the Noldor's proudest king.
Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.

I love when I'm right. Of course, I think I just misread WickedRock, and we're saying the same thing.
