What is the exact process for a falling giant...say the giant was pretty much torn apart and roasted by 20 de repeater xbow men...and he falls....how exactly does one determine where he falls and how the damage is worked out? Are their iniative tests or look out sir or anything of that sort? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Roll a scatter dice and use the 'falling giant' template in the back of O&G or BoC army books. This is where the giant lands. Any unit under takes d3 s6 hits from memory... although I'm a bit hazy on this and will need to check the rules book.
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
    Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
    Down the Noldor's proudest king.

Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.

I do think it's like a rocklobber, everyone under the giant is hit with S6/5 and everyone partially under are hit on a 4+.
Don't have the rulebook here, so I'm probably wrong. But it definately isn't just D3 hits

Well there you go then, I didn't have my O&G book with me, thanks Bobby! I knew there was a d3 in there somewhere!

I doesn't specify, so I'd have to say no...

I'd say that you would get "look out sir!". But I'm not 100% sure.
I think this was in a FAQ somewhere...
I kill two dwarves in the morning, I kill two dwarves at night. I kill two dwarves in the afternoon, and then I feel allright. I kill two dwarves in time of peace, and two in time of war. I kill two dwarves before I kill two dwarves, and then I kill two more.

I'd say you probably do, since you get the Look out Sir! rule for most other things being shot or thrown at you. It doesn't seem unfeasible that a unit member would heroically push their commander out of the way, with a cheerful nod.

any MODEL covered by the fallen giant template is automaticly hit with a S6 hit that causes D3 wounds, any model partly covered is hit on a roll of 4+, S6 D3 wounds as usual. that is how it works.
