As the topic-title says: Can I equip my Savage Orc Big Boss with a great weapon and make him the Battle Standard Bearer, or does it work kind of like troops with shields and great weapons in that they can't use their shields in close combat if they want the strenght bonus from the weapons?
Thanks in advance, and sorry if it's a stupid question.
It says in the BSB description next to the hero entries that they may not take any two handed weapons, No shields, no additional handweapons. So they may only have something that can be held in one hand like your common handweapon or spear. If they do not have a magical banner, just a battle standard, they may carry non twohanded magical weapons.
Sorry, I've completely missed that. Thanks for pointing it out!
Wicked's spot on... however, you can take the Club of Fumpin if you don't take magical banner... same effect but strike in initiative order!
The iron crowned is getting closer,
Swings his hammer down on him,
Like a thunderstorm he's crushing,
Down the Noldor's proudest king.
Under my foot, so hopeless it seems.
You've troubled my day, now feel the pain.
