If a spell is "destroyed," does that mean the wizard loses the spell forever? Or is it something different? My little brother saw something that both dispells and destroys a spell, so "destroys" can't be just a synonym for "dispells".
Yeah, if a spell is "destroyed", then the wizard cannot cast that spell again for the rest of the game, but it doesn't affect the wizard's level for generating dice.

Aye, as said above a spell that is destroyed means that the magic user who cast it may no longer use it that battle, the improtant part there is the magic user. If you have multiple versions of that specific spell only the one that was being cast is removed and not all.
