erm, i was wondering if you had poisonous attacks, say a skink missile weapon, and then had a positive modifier to hit, like a large target, would you still only automatically wound on a 6, or would you auto wound on 5s and 6s because the 5s are now essentially 6s due to the +1 to "to hit rolls"?
It still only on a six, the rule states any 6's rolled to hit will be posioned. A bonus or penaltie has no bearing on this, the only exception being hitting on 7's or more. If a 7+ is needed to wound (eg skink with blow pipe - moved, double shots at long range = -3 to hit BS3 (7-3 = 4) + 3 = 7 ) then it is impossible to poison as a 6 then a 4+ are needed to hit, if the 6 isn't rolled then the shot missed.
Another question on poison.
I know it cannot affect warmachines, but does it affect undead and daemonic troops? It does say in the rulebook; "Unliving targets are immune to poison as are some troop types. These are clearly defined in their description.". So are undead and daemons immune or not?...
"Peace, through superior firepower."
Nope, they are not. Undead and Daemons can still be affected by poison, as it doesn't note immunity in their descriptions. You can assume the enemy have coated claws, weapons etc with poison vs them (Daemonbane, wolfsbane.... etc).
good point on the 7+ to hit ulrik

as ulrick said undead and deamons are still affected by poison so by all means go and autowound those scary bums
