which has more influence, a magic banner or a character? here is the scenario... a warrior priest and his unit of greatswords are locked in battle with a hated unit. with th rules of hatred they would have to persue but if the greatswords have the griffon standard they never persue... so what do they do?
I believe each time you need to, you should roll a die to see which rule takes priority. E.g: Roll a D6, on 1-3 The unit persues, on a 4-6, the unit doesn't have to persue. This isn't an official rule, IIRC, but it's just what me and local gamers do in situations like these.
Magic items/rules tend to take priority. So in your case, the unit would hold, as the Griffon Banner overrides the Hatred suffered by the priest. If there's a debate about it though, just dice off as Pierced suggested, as arguments ruin games.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, even if it's wrong.
And don't we know it! :eek:Originally Posted by Ā§ilentĀ§torm
