    Revised Lore of Heavens?

Isn't there a new "revised" version of the lore of the heavens that makes the attack spells have ranges? I've heard of it, but it seems pretty retarded, and the staff at my local GW don't use them. My question is, can u use them in tourneys?

The revised Lores of magic are at the bottom of this page. They are certainly not 'retarded', they're a smart decision on the part of the games designers who've realised that the Heavens spells were far too powerful for their own good. Why else do you think everyone used Heavens magic all the time in preference to any of the other lores? When was the last time you used the Lore of Life?!...

I'd imagine that most tournements would probably insist on using the revised versions of these Lores instead of the original ones, especially since they're official.

Do these 100% replace the ones in the rulebook or can you still use those?

Thats a bummer, while I dont agree with the unlimited range, dropping them all to s4 sucks for hitting tougher than average things. Doesnt seem like magic holds too much of a punch

Yes, and it sucks that my undead suffer from poison, and it doesn't make much sense, even in a fantasy world. But you know, I don't make the rules.
