We just recently got a new Tomb King player at our store and are finding that fighting the legions of the long dead kings near impossible. No matter what happens to a unit he brings it back. accursed magic. Gonna have to invest in more scrolls / mages for dice.
The only question i have is once a unit is completely wiped out, can it be healed with Djera's Incantaion of Summoning? Sieges have been completely futile since you cannot stop ANY units from getting to the wall if he can bring them back from the dead from scratch. I can't find anywhere in the spell that permits fully destroyed units from being resurrected as the spell states "Target one of your undead units within 12" of the priest", which implies to me there must be at least a little bit of a unit to resurrect the remaining ones.
Thanks in advance,
Moved to rules.
well, you just answered your own question there
Since there is obviously no undead unit left to target, the spell won't work. A basic definition of the game is that if a unit is wiped out, no further record of it is kept, other than noting down Victory Points. So, in effect, the unit is no more, and can't be resurrected. Only Vampire Counts can do that, but they generate a completely new unit, with it's own VP cost and such...
exactly, there are no unit left to heal, its gone poff bye-bye thus cannot be "healed back" to the tabletop.
