hi. im sort of a new player.
i have a quite stupid quiestion here, and i was wondering if you "PROFFESIONOLS" could help me? because if you dont ill get veeeeeeeeery angry, and transform into a NINJA! :ninja:
if we have a unit of.... shall we say 16 elf spearmen, and then a unit of my kroxigors charges it in the front, and then my steg also charges it in the flank. i know that them in the front line can attack the kroxigors, but can the elves in the flank, with there sides on the steg attack it?
yes the ones in base contact with the stegadon can attack it, but you cant use spears sideways, the spear attacks can only be directed at the kroxigors
lets agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours are
is it with halberds, lances and cavalry spears, like it is with infantry spears?
I didn't quite get your last question, but here's some info that might help.
Spears (from infantry) can be used to attack with the front two ranks if the unit is charged by another unit, or if it is the 2nd or subsequent round of combat not if the spearmen charge.
A unit of spearmen, like in your case, can attack the "Kroxigors" with the front two ranks of troops, while only the spearmen in base contact can attack enemies which attack their Flank or Rear.
Cavalry with spears get +1 Strength on the turn they charge only. A unit of Cavalry with spears and two ranks can only attack with the models in base contact with the enemy. Only infantry with spears can attack with more than one rank.
Halberds give infantry +1 strength in combat, but they can only fight against models in base contact with themselves. As far as i am aware, cavalry cannot use halberds except charriots.
ok. sorry, i didnt really get your first answer either. but know i understand. thanks for the help!
