Ok so i always thought that Chaos Warriors, whilst pretty damn hard, were still man-sized.
But when looking over the rules for the Giant i came across a chaos warrior described as "big"
So really i have two questions:
1) What set of attacks would a giant use on a chaos warrior?
2) Does killing blow still work on a chaos warrior?
The page in question can be found here
Thanks for any replies
Interesting question.. i would have to say they simply made a mistake with that diagram showing the choas warrior as 'big'.. in the text about it says "fighting big things (Ogres, Kroxigors, Minotaurs, & similar, including chariots)..
Then it says "anyone smaller than above".. choas warriors a a little bigger than man sized but they are small compared to the things listed above.. hence going on "anyone smaller than above" i would have to say he is treated as not being 'big'.. unless he is mounted on the same size base as ogres etc. whcih i dont think they are

Thanks, that exactly what i thought
It's just another case of GW buffoonery concerning clarity of rules. In the part about special attacks, it says big things are 'ogres, kroxigors and minotaurs, etc', which is the correct rules. The fact that they've then gone and labelled a chaos warrior as 'big', is wrong and just serves to confuse players. DA_Recruit is right, chaos warriors, while hulking beefcakes, are not the same size as ogres, they are infantry just like empire troops. In game terms, there is no difference in size between humans, dwarfs and chaos warriors. Even a lord on a Daemonic Mount would not really be classed as 'big', though if he were on a dragon, then I suppose the giant could 'eadbutt the dragon.
The fact that they've classed chariots as 'big' things that the giant can 'eadbutt also seems absurd. I mean really, how can a giant headbutt a chariot?! Against war machines, chariots and other stuff like Steam Tanks, they really need a different table with Jump Up And Down, Swing With Club and Thump With Club. Other attacks make no real sense against war machines.
"Peace, through superior firepower."
Yeah, like they said it's pretty much just GW using a poor example. The dwarf and the human are both on 20mm bases, and the chaos warrior is on a 25mm. They were just implying the size is a bit bigger than the others compared to the giant foot scale diagram to the left of the snotling base.
If you look to the bottom of the second page with the picture of the ogre and the giants saying, bigger, biggest, huge I think it makes it clear. The chaos warrior is just in the scale starting at snotlings and ending at giants
Chaos warriors are still man sized, just quite large scary men, and can be killing blowed as well as featuring on the smaller list for giant attacks. Otherwise orcs should in theory not be able to be killing blowed as they are on the same base size as a chaos warrior, and that would be crazy talk :w00t:
