I'm having a debate with someone in the skaven forum, about the strength in numbers rule.
Here is the thread
I was wondering which of us is correct, any help would be much appreciated
You are correct Stonehambey, since the leadership of any model can never rise above 10. 10 is the absolute maximum for leadership, I think if you check the part on stat descriptions at the very front of the rulebook, you'll probably find it says something like 'leadership values range from between 1 and 10'.
It baffles me how some people can choose to ignore certain rules or try to get around them by claiming things like 'it didn't mention special characters' or some other crap! In this instance, if Skaven special characters could have boosted the leadership above 10, the rule would have mentioned that. The fact that it says, in black and white, the max total leadership will be 10, doesn't seem to matter.
I'll repeat this in the original post, so you don't have to link.
"Peace, through superior firepower."
I kinda knew i was right, but there's always that little voice of doubt.
Either way i thought i'd better consult the higher powers
