three things id like to ask about the cannon and how its fired:
1) it says in my updated erratta that they are not subject to the normal targeting restrictions. does this mean they can shoot at a character on foot on his own??
2) can a cannon's shot 'bounce' through terrain?
3) how do people (if at all) deal with players who intentionaly overguess to hit models behind other units?? im still refering to characters, but also chariots as well, since the cannon needs line of sight to the target.
finaly, if im allowed to ask in this forum, whats the best way to combat these gigantic sniper rifles picking off characters???
Yes.Originally Posted by timk1111Yes, but it can't bounce up cliffs or other shear terrain.Originally Posted by timk1111It only needs LoS to a target along the line it shoots. Overguessing is bad sportsmanship. If you opponent is a good guesser, tell him that overguessing is against the rules. Telling him not to be an idiot might also work .Originally Posted by timk1111Put your characters in units, or hide behind terrain. With look out, sir! your character only has a 1 in 6 chance of being hit. If he's behind terrain, he can't be shot at unless you've got a unit along that line and your opponent is being an unsporting git.Originally Posted by timk1111

Using a cannon as a hochland is a blatant abuse of the rules.
I don't care what the rules say and i don't care for "look out sir" either, i genuinely think that GW have got it wrong on this one, sorry

cheers for the help guys, tim
