Can someone tell me if my opponent gets a rank bonus if I charge his infantry unit in the rear with my TK Scorpion.
Yes he does because the scorpion isn't unit strength 5.
Otherwise it would be a lot better than it actually is^_^
Thanks. I thought this was the case. If I do an underground advance I will only attack artillery crews or single characters until my other units have gotten into close combat and then use the scorpions to support those fights.
Tis the way to use em!Originally Posted by whish
You might also try kamikaze attacks on characters inside units especially mages.Your Scorpion will probably crumble but your opponent will be short one wizard/character.
I've used this tactic to great effect and it works wonders on those Necromancers hiding inside of Zombie bunkers.
Mind you it's best used against hero level characters.Lords tend to be more resilient altough you can get lucky
But he has killing blow, so sometimes you can get lucky and snip the head off of a 3-400 pt lord model!Originally Posted by Aramaki
I'm guessing that's what he meant when he said you might get lucky. Nothing worse than killing blow a general. Oh wait yes there is, "pick up general and stuff in f*cking bag!"Originally Posted by MobiusPrime
Heh, thats why I deploy my RBT's a mile away from eachother & keep nothing else close to them!Originally Posted by whish
Speaking of which, I know RBT's cant move, but do they have a 360 degree line of sight? (in other words can they pivot?) The reason I ask is if there are nasty 'little' bugs popping up behind them, it would be nice if im able to shoot them if they fall short of charge range.
(unless they dont scatter, & pop up wherever they want? cant remember)
Sorry for taking the thread off topic, but the original question has been answered so I dont see the harm
Dark Elves - Game #28 vs High Elves: Draw

All warmachines have 360 degrees line of sight so they can see all around them.
And warmachines can move.Their movement rate is equal to the movement rate of the crew.In the case of RBT that's 5 inches.
They cannot march and if you lose a member of the crew the movement rate goes down accordingly ie. by half because you have two crew members.
i hate that killing blow, got my khorne lord killed by it last game charged by 2 scorpions and 3 rounds later they KB me (yes i failed to kill them for 3 rounds even with the rending sword, the dice gods really werent pleased with me that day)
lets agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours are
