I've got a question which has puzzled me a bit.
In the Warhammer Warbands rules in the "For large warband games" it states "Warbands must include one Commander model (see the rules and restrictions listed in For Small Warband Games)"
In the rules for small warband games it says "This model can either be a hero level character worth no more than 75pts (including equipment, upgrades abilities etc)"
However in the second article about Warhammer Warbands it states under vampire counts that I could take a Thrall or Wraith, both coming in with a basic cost of over the 75pts.
Now the only possible way I can see that is by having a skeleton unit champion as a Commander, and a Thrall with a cost under the 150pts for a pair of heroes. But this makes no sense to me, why would a skeleton lead when I have a Thrall??
Thanks for any help I receive if you can see what i'm getting at
I'd drop the skeleton to better equip the thrall. Try the GW UK Warhammer forum.
That's my problem. The rules seem to say I can't have a Thrall, but the later information tells me I can, when I don't see how it is possible within the scope of the rules.
Those are two differents sets of points. Assuming that you started at 250 points, you're allowed to spend up to 150 on heroes. under 200, 75 max.
