A buddy of mine brought up this topic the weekend after he played against TK...
In short, there were two fights - lots of Skaven and 4 Chariots (one with a tomb prince with the spear of Antarrhak) on one side and a giant and skeleton horseman on the other.
Combat res eventually killed the chariots leaving only the Prince. The question arises : can the SoA regain the wounds on the fallen chariots? This boils down to if he is still a part of the unit or not.
The same applies on the second combat between the giants - it had a LP in the unit, and the giant killed them until only the priest remained.Once again the priest used summoning to regain the falllen unit.
Are these possible?Any sources would help as well...
No the unit must survive for the incantation of summoning to work.
If a khemri unit is wiped out, then it's gone for good
Thats my reasoning too...but hes saying that in both cases the Prince and the Priest are still part of the unit...
Nope, once the unit has been destroyed around the character, then there is no longer any unit for the character to be part of! At least one model from the unit must survive along with the character for any of this resurrection business to take place...
"Peace, through superior firepower."
Yes the main difference between Khemri and VC resurrection is that the khemri can restore wounds on anything (even the SSC itself!) but cannot bring new units into the game
Ahhh cool i had the same question.....
