im jw cause i was talking to someone about this today, do you get +1 attack on the charge? someone have a reference page please
There is no +1 attack for charging in Fantasy, your thinking about 40k. The advantage for charging in fantasy is striking first, although it can have draw backs in a way, like when using spears or pikes.
The ref page is in the front of the book.. its called 'contents' lol
& yes bustacaps answer is correct

Indeed, being able to strike first is the only tangible advantage to charging. Although there is another advantage in that if you charge, you get to decide who you fight if there is more than one valid charge target. This is important if you want to avoid a fight with a unit that you'd likely lose against. And of course, getting the charge on a unit of cavalry is usually better than being charged by them!
Strategically speaking, getting the charge also means you can often dictate the flow of the battle (to an extent), meaning your opponent must react to what you're doing rather than being able to carry out his original battle plan.
But no, you do not get +1 attack, just think for a minute about how powerful that would be if it were the case! Literally everyone who could take them would be running around with halberds and great weapons!
