Well, i was busy writing lists and thinking of fluff when I found i came to a delemma. Here it is folks:
Can I make a Sword of Battle a Great Weapon? What about a Sword of Striking? Now, we all know that such common items don't have to be swords, but can be axes, clubs etc. The question is, can you make them something else?
My main thing goes with upgrading a hero to have a Great Weapon, and making that Great Weapon a Sword of Battle. You pay for both, but can you only use one? But to go further, what if you pay for a spear and make it a common magic weapon, or what about even a lance (why? I don't know, for arguments sake.)
What do you guys think?
"The Enemies Gate is Down" (Bean/Ender)
"Individual human beings are all tools, that the
others use to help us all survive." (Graff)
"There is no teacher but the enemy." (Mazer Rackham)
The answer to that one is easy. A booming, resounding "No!"
Magic items are only classed as spears, great weapons, flails or whatever when their descriptions explicitly state "Counts as a great weapon, etc."
