Just surfed on over to the Games Workshop coverage of Games Day in Baltimore. They put pics of me and my brother (http://gamesday.us.games-workshop.com/GamesDay2007/balt_cov/tournament/40K_gaming.htm) (pics five and four, solid green T, and white T with red stripes) playing in the 40K tourney. Totally sweet right?! We're a little shiny and unkempt cauz we stayed up all night painting and were nearly late when they moved registration up an hour. :sleep: Whatever tho, we fit in with the rest of the crowd. I just wish we were looking up we're sexy as hell! :D

Who else was at this tournament? If you got your likeness up I'd love to hear about it maybe I'd recognize you!

How'd you fare in the tourney?

I placed 40th out of 80, and my brother got 51st place.

I probably would have done better if I didnt paint my army the night before. ^_^ Also, the last game I played the dice were definately against me and my opponent was pretty merciless, even cheating a bit. Ahh wells, it was my first tourney so getting a middling placement isnt too bad.

I hope to do some more painting and do better in the GT in a couple months. Maybe I'll see that cheesy Eldar player again and hand him his ass this time. Pfft, says he never lost a game with that army!

Well good luck with the GT :) Ours starts about then too, though I'm in the 3rd Heat which is at the end of November I think.
Come to think of it, I need to buy my ticket asap o_o
