Ah well that's cool... ;) TheSlayer March 7th, 2004, 09:01 I went to conflict seattle and had a smashing good time, and admission was practicly free, since I got two fire dragons and a death cult assassin for free. Lots of fun to, got to play on a SWEET looking bored, its got a river going down the middle, lots of trees and a gorgious water fall, plus theres all this lil grots and spiders crawling around. Really annoying to play on though. ChadFromCanada March 7th, 2004, 16:11 Originally posted by TheSlayer@Mar 7 2004, 02:01

how did you get them for free? ElGrun March 7th, 2004, 17:06 Originally posted by ChadFromCanada@Mar 7 2004, 09:11

Yeah I would like to know too, you know what I mean... :D TheSlayer March 7th, 2004, 18:39 They had free painting 'lessons.' Really it was just a table with a gw case full of primed minatures, there were goblins, squig hoppers, a few necromunda models that can be used as henchmen, death cult assassins, space marine scouts, high elf sword master and a dwarf miner, among other things. Next to that they had a big table full of paints. You were supposed to get a model and then get painting lessons from a staff member over watching the painting area, but that never happened. But they still gave away those primed models for free, and near the end when they had left over models they didn't mind if you took three or so :) ElGrun March 7th, 2004, 20:11 Originally posted by TheSlayer@Mar 7 2004, 11:39

I'll watch for this :D chemicalcaveman March 8th, 2004, 12:07 Nice tip, i am planning to go to conflict dublin this sunday. Must find the free models. Loque March 8th, 2004, 15:40 Hehehehe, I got free painting lessons to. We had Orc Boyz, several black orcs, Skaven heroes (the lot), High elf bow people, dwarf iron breakers, Necrons, Space marines, Nurglings, Bloodletters. Dark Eldar wyches. :)
because so few of us for some reason (Saturday is a busy day at the GW I go to) turned up, We where able to take about 10 models each :D, the only problem was that one of the staff there felt they had been too nice and was sarcastic for a week or two. <_< Ceawolf54 March 8th, 2004, 19:08 lol :P | |
