Hey everyone, I was just wondering really, how many of us actually make Battle Reports..

If so, what methods do you use? Do you just take pics with a digital camera and describe it?

Do you go the whole 9 yards and develop a fluffy scenario and play it out with celever wordage.

Do you take the tech route and create some sort of visual model on what took place durring the course of the game?

No real method to my madness, i'm just interested because i've began doing the "third" and when i say began i mean JUST started. but i've got some fair templates out.

I usually draw up a crappy little map to show deployment. Including both army lists is standard proceedure.
Then my report itself is just text. Which varies between simple/short dot points, to more elaborate fluffy 'story' write ups.

I would like to include photos of each turn, but because I cant seem to get pictures directly into threads, only link to them, I dont bother.

I beleive DavidVC04 put up a thread in the FB battle reports forum on how BatReps should be formatted.

Cheers

I tend to explain how the deployment went with a simple diagram showing what was gacing each other across the field, then give a run down of the lists of both sides. I haven't really bothered about writing up the fluffy side of things really. What I then do is a turn by turn account of the salient points in the battle, movement, spells, combat etc. At the end of the turn by turn account I give the result and try to analyse the key points in the battle.
