So I finally come back to LO after a long hiatus due to schoolwork. Posting pictures of some of my models has been in the back of my mind for a while. So here are a few things I have been working on recently. I bounce back and forth from model to model when I get bored of painting one, so I have a bunch of partially completed ones. The models look better in person, I don't know exactly if the problem is the camera or my lighting, but the colors aren't quite right.

Not too shabby! What colors did you use on the Sister Superior's Armour? What was your technique?

I wish I could say it was something fancy, but I just used shadow gray, space wolves and then skull white for the sister superior armor. Its just old fashioned highlighting and shadowing. You have to be careful, though, because the light GW colors (ie. space wolves gray and skull white) tend to get chunky if you don't water them down. I just used 50/50 water to paint for pretty much everything.

Pretty nice. Overall, I can make one comment. Are you thinning your paints down enough?
I try to go for 1:1 or even up to 3:1 when doing a lot of layering.

BTW, I'm going to beat kuffy to this, and I'm sure he'll say something to say 'bout this.
Pics should be no greater than 700pixels wide.

my older models (sisters) don't have the paint watered down much at all, but the newer stuff is watered down about 1:1.
