Ok LO im coming to you in utter desperation, I recently got some Minis off of eBay, they looked crappily painted in the photos, but nothing simple green couldnt fix, when i got them and found out that simple green didnt work... I emailed the seller and lo and behold... it was house paint. I come to you on my hands and knees how do I get house paint off of a plastic mini ??

yeeech. most of the solvents i know will also eat the plastics the mini is made out of. You may try using some acetone or maybe methanol. The acetone will definatly do it, but you need to be SUPER careful or it will destroy the mini. Methanol is just rubbing alochol, and while i dont think it will work that well against an oil based paint, it is somewhat stronger than simple green and may be worth a shot?

I hope someone else on here can give some better insight.

I hear oven cleaner will work, but I have not used it myself so be careful.

Castrol Super Clean and Brake Fluid are meant to be good and not damage plastics

That's a tough one... Brake Fluids... But also this solvent will leave paint on the mini depending on when the mini was painted... If it is painted like this for a year or more then more paint will be left...

Sorry man... I was on your spot...
