High Elf vs Other army

I am seeking helps with ideas to counter different armies.

vs. Calvary army = Arwen/Elrond Nature's Wrath
vs. Rangers of Arnor = Haldir/Captain w/ bow, go maximum bow and try to out-shoot?
vs. Ringwraiths = Wizard Council, and throw spells every turn to waste their Will?
vs. Goblins = Terrorfying Aura? Aura of Dismay? and take lots of bow to thin down their number?
vs. Trolls/Eagle/Treebeard/Ents = no idea here.. wait to get crushed by them.

Well as a good army you will almost always fight eveil, right?
so no worries about treebeard and eagles.

But trolls......

Take a F 7 hero, like gil-galad or glorfindel. You can go head to head then.

Even nicer is this...
There is nowhere (in my book) that doesn't say that trolls can withstand natture's wrath.
Kick them over at the right moment and hack into them with some two haned elven blades. He won't survive long.

Not exactly always. The Legions book is specifically made for point-battle so you can play the game like a regular 1v1 game just like fantasy or 40k. I've already played alot of games using Elves vs Minas Tirith, most of the time my army gets trashed single-handedly by Boromir of the White Tower. Glorfindel with support plus 3 others fighting a single Boromir still takes alot of luck to beat him... it all comes down to that randomise 1-3 to one side, 4-6 to the other. I would love to take a Gil-Galad except that if I take him, Arwen will no long be an option for my army. :mad:
