Now I have been thinking about this a for a bit, and I have an idea. Now in the Necron fluff every time they die even if they don't get wbb they phase out and are reconstructed in a Necron pyramid. Now that means their numbers will never get lower right, well I something else could happen.

Couldn't some space marines or anyone really just go to a Necron pyramid and destroy that. Now assuming they would then phase out to another pyramid just destroy one after another. Sure it would be really really really..... .... .... ..... *day pass*... ... ... really really tough, but It would be possible. What do you guys think? If I am missing some fluff that proves this wrong I am sorry.

I suppose you could do it, but nobody knows where all the tombs are, and wouldn’t the last tomb have an ungodly amount of necron around it and in it, like the sum of every one of the metal monsters. It’s possible, just not probable.

Well eventually all the necrons will be in one tomb... talk about overcrowding! :D

Then all you do is drop a nice big fusion warhead on it and they all get fused into one huge molten slag heap.

hmm at least they would recycle the metal if they dropped a fusion bomb on top of all of them as Macharius suggested.....

If there's nowhere for them to phase out to though where would they turn up if they can't die.

And how could they all phase back into another tomb at the exact same time as other Necrons????

Talk about taking out the last tomb, you'd need almost every regiment of both the Guard and Adeptus Astartes to destroy it in a ground assault wouldn't you???

Yea that last tomb would be really tough to take. Hmmm...
Bob the Necron Man- Alright now we gots here about 1 million points of necrons...
Jack the Space Marine Guy- Ok this is gonna be some battle.

You would need a parking lot to play. Hmmm....
Earl- Um boss why are all dem people out there in the parking lot.
Mr. Boss- Huh what do you me.... holy mother of god.

That would be funny what if they called the police. Hmmm....
*fellow forum member pulls out gun and shoots me*

Underlies- Arg that was my *bam* *bam* *bam*
Forum Person- ROAR!!!!

Anyway sorry about the tanget, but I couldn't resist. But if they took the last tomb then necrons would probably go bye bye, but the C'tan would be *****ed.

Yeh you may somehow get passed the billions of necron but you still have the ctan to deal with.

If bombs were getting dropped on tombs the Necrons would build an energy force field around it to stop bombs/nukes whatever.
Remember C'tan are far more powerful that stats suggest, even if hit by fusion blasts, exterminatus torpedoes they would not truly die. The only way they will truly die is if eaten by another c'tan or hit by a blackstone fortress but I think the knowledge of how to use the blackstones power has been lost.

These sort of threads always make me laugh.

IT'S NOT REAL!!!

Here's a few more for you to ponder over

What if the Necrons destroyed humanity before they were born?
What if the tyranids destroyed every planet where would they go next?

Yes, it is possible, but very unlikely, also remember they just don't go to Tombs, they also go to Tomb Ships, which are mobile and much harder to find.

If all the necrons were to form Unicron, I don't think all the universal greatings in, well, the universe would save you.
