Okay since I have discovered that story wise they have eliminated malal, well I am detremined to bring him and the minor gods back.


Also here is a little theroy, you know the emporere tech knights have that bisected skull that looks half black an half white, well that is VERY similar to malals symbol.

Now the emporer seems TO powefull to be human, and seems to act chaotic though hates chaos, his style seems somtimes akin to chaos gods, e.g. those messed up new sister battle dreadnaught things.

So I have a theroy what if the emporer is Malal? just he is confined to a human form.



Anyway the other purpose of this thread is also to make new rules for the forgotten chaos gods, and to make them work in 40k and fantasy.

Did it ever occur to you that Penitent Engines may not be his style, only the Inquisition's? You know what the Emperor's style is? Sitting on his ass and rotting. I think he is just a figurehead for the Inquisition, and they use him to control the Space Marines and Imperial Guard.

I was thinking the same thing awhile ago Hellray, i just couldn't remeber Malal's name.

I remember Malal. He was actually my favourite. What happened to him i mean was he just dropped and forgotten about because 4 is a nice round number.

GW should make more of an effort for all those lesser chaos gods there will be. Like a god of murder, a god of jealousy, spite, fear etc

and the gods of jealousy would be Khorne's lesser god b/c jealousy can lead to murder etc. And Slaanesh would definitely have a sex, drugs, etc. lesser god.

The Adeptus Mechanicus symbol has always puzzled me, even though Malal officially no longer exists. What I find even more interesting is the "Sons of Malice" traitor marines chapter, whose chapter colours are identical to Malal's.

i think the sons of malice were put in their just as a little 'hail' to Malal the forgotten god. i really hope that whenever they decide to release the other 2 C'tan that Malal will come back but it is a fools hope.

The writer for GW who came up with Malal left GW years ago, taking his copyright with him, so GW were legally obliged to remove all mention of Malal.

The minor gods dont really have a place in 40k any more because they're all fulfilled by the big four. As for the chapter colours/ admech symbol, theres only a certain amount of colours in existence, remember, so its either a good coincidence or GW giving the finger to the writer who left.

why did the writter take the malal copyrigh with him, that is a bit selfish isn't it.


Unless he wants to use malal in his own storys that are seperate from warhammer? if there are any? does this guy have a website?


Anway I believe that the sons of malice and the tech priest symbol is a permenant reminder that malal will ot die, and is in the fluff even though he is not mentioned anymore.


But I still think Fernex would be great to bring in, as there is NO dark god of machines except Fernex, actually some guy wrote some cool new story fro him to bring him into 40k, saying h was ressurected by renegade tech priests, worshipping him instead of Omnissah.
