First up is the new Tau Camel Cavalry Auxilery. I couldn't get any special rules for it, but I believe it fills the assault role in the Tau list.

But as Triumph pointed out thats not Tau but LOTR (i wasnt paying much attention eg didnt click full picture up)
So no rules yet maybe just a concept or for a future release??

May be useful for some IG Rough Riders or something

That's a LotR mini, I'll stake my monkey on it.

For starters, the scale looks like LotR (it's better proportioned), next is the fact the rider is wielding a blow pipe (how many blowpipes do we see in 40k?), thirdly is the fact that the models in the background it's shown interacting with have bows (again, does not fit 40k, as if the Tau would let idiots armed with bows go to war), and lastly is the fact that on the rear leg of the camel in black on red paint is what appears to be a symbol of the eye of Sauron.

I don't know how someone could stuff that up, honestly...

Yeah, thats what got me too Triumph. Especially the lack of Tau models around and the excess of bow wielding models...

Ahh Flames I love you man lmao. That made me second guess myself, and gave me a great idea to use Tau Camel forces from now on. I could imagine adding jet boosters and stuff on it, making them fleet of foot. Maybe add a guy on back with a Rail Gun, the world of 40k is my oyster, one the Camel spat in.

When i saw this thread i was ready to B*** slap the game designers of 40k for coming up with something so stupid. good thing its for LotRs.

Does anyone else agree that GW REALLY need to stop wasting time and money in making new LotR models that noone will really want, buy or use? No wonder profits are going down, hence prices are going up... and without getting off topic and into that discussion... from a personal point of view the only LotR models that are needed and that make money are those taken from the films.
