Hi All,

After long decision time I decide to build a small 1000 points force. Later if I'm happy with the army I will expand them to 2000 points. In the mean time I would appreciate your feedback.

Now at this stage there are 190 points free. What's better to use them? On another Unit of 5 Knights, with Full command to accompany the BSB? Pegasus unit? Trebuchet and another Paladin? Downgrade the Lord to Paladin and get more Knights and gear?

I tried to make the army less boring than usual (all cavarly) and the units cheap. But I believe the Damsel and the Lord are bit points sinks.

Any suggestions are VERY welcome :)

The 1K list looks pretty good, though i think 2 scrolls are unneccessary. Drop atleast one of them and put int he Potion Sacre (+1DD item, may be the Chalice i cant remember)

Also at low points i think you may be better off with more, smaller Knight units. Take 2 units of 5 Realm Knights, with a BSB/Paladin character in each. Use them as a single line, not lance. (More attacks in later rounds, less vulnerable to warmachines etc, from the front atleast)

Also try and add in a unti of 5 Knights errant, with errantry banner. These guys are great, and cheaper than Realms.

Maybe a Champ in the M@A unit to protect the damsel a little. Any spare points use to add some more bowmen to the unit,


As for the 2K list, if you just want to keep the Characters cheap id say dont bother with a Lord. Also, despite how amazing it is, the Banner of the Lady is Insanely expansive. Same comment for the Damsel as above.
Drop the Lord for 2 paladins, then add another Damsel for antimag.

Make your General a Grail paladin and put him in a unit with 5 Grail Knights.

The other knights will be fine leading Realm Units.

The damsels may be better off being left in the M@A units, though adding Mag Resistance to the Knights can be a great thing, so remove one Realm from each unit and put damsels there.

M@A, should be ok to drop those units to 20. Add banners and Music.

You can only have 1 Skirmishing Bow unit unfortunately. Make it 16 strong with Braziers and Music.

Definitely get a unit of 3-4 Pegasi in there. Im surprised they dont appear in your 1K list actually, they are pure gold.
